About 160 devotees participated in the spiritual camp. Many families came from various parts of Florida as well as southeast US.

This year’s camp had a unique Theme; “Crush the Crisis and Succeed” - A very receptive topic for all participants including children. Samani Charitra Pragyaji and Samani Unnat Pragyaji (Teaching Professors at Florida International University, Miami), gave a wonderful perspective thru lectures on Crisis. Everyone has some effect from the current financial crisis. Samanijis dissected the whole concept helping the audience understand the crisis, showing how one should react to it or not, how to respond to it and cure it for self and others in family and friends.

Spirituality was in the air as Chanting, Meditation and techniques of relaxation were taught to participants. Evening cultural program captured the hearts of everyone in attendance. Children drama and youth drama helped learn a very great lesson. The Adults also presented a drama on handling crisis. The highlight of the cultural program was the Quawalli program arranged by the Jain Vishwa Bharati team.

This year Jain Vishwa Bharati started using reusable dinnerware in place of disposable paper and foam products thus promoting Going green and going Non-violent.

Past President Mr. Ashok Shah gave a synopsis of last years activities and achievements. Mr. Devang Chitalia was MC for the whole camp program. In closing ceremony many participants spoke highly of learning on crisis. Mrs. Bina Shah of Birmingham AL gave a very emotional message to people living in and around the Orlando area to take the best advantage of the wonderful JVB center.

Parents who attended were very grateful to JVB for organizing the camp and helping their children expose to the religious and spiritual activities.
